Responsibilities

Proficiency in core web languages HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript

Take ambiguous ideas and deliver production code

Expertise in a framework like React, Svelte, Next.js or Remix

Test, triage and debug web apps

Analytical and detail-oriented

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Advanced problem-solving skills

Ability to meet tight deadlines

Observant and able to remain focused on tasks for long periods of time

Review PRs by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)

Mentor Jr engineers

Preferred

5+ year experience in a related role

Some React Native experience

Well versed in web best practices and accessibility

Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies

Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback

Experienced with client-server protocol & API design Skills – REST, GraphQL
