We are looking for a skilled developer with prior experience on Android app packaging of JavaScript applications to build a touchscreen ordering application that will run on Android devices in an embedded application. The app should be compatible with an MDM (Mobile Device Management) such as Esper and preferably developed using JavaScript frameworks like Expo and React. Client will develop RESTful API to manage business components including product management, sales tracking, analytics, inventory and service management.

This application will allow users of a next generation vending machine to easily place orders for ready to eat meals and navigate through the menu using a branded user-friendly interface. Application will then use the serial port to send simple commands for vending machine to do, like triggering payment for specified amount (handled elsewhere by card reader), picking a product from Aisle 12 and moving it to the oven for rapid heating, and the like.

As a developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the application, ensuring writing maintainable code for you or other team members to maintain.
