Yemen-based Houthis warned Israel of retaliation after the deadly attack on Hodeidah. Houthi spokesperson Yahya Saree described the Israeli airstrikes as “heinous aggression.” Yahya Saree said Houthis will respond to Israel’s “blatant aggression” on Yemen’s port city. He further warned that the Iran-backed group won’t hesitate to strike vital Israeli targets. This follows Israel’s first-ever direct attack on Yemen’s Hodeidah on July 20.
