Overview:
We are looking for an experienced web developer to assist with configuring and customizing our WordPress and Shopify websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both platforms, and be able to work closely with our existing web designer to implement the desired functionality and aesthetic.

Responsibilities:

For WordPress:

Installation and Configuration:

Install and configure WordPress on our hosting server.
Install the selected WordPress theme.
Set up essential plug-ins for security, SEO, and performance.
Customization:

Customize the theme according to our web designer’s specifications.
Implement any required custom functionality.
Ensure the site is responsive and mobile-friendly.
Maintenance:

Regular updates of WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
Troubleshoot and fix any issues that arise.
For Shopify:

Store Setup:

Configure Shopify store settings.
Install and set up the chosen Shopify theme.
Add and configure necessary apps.
Customization:

Customize the Shopify theme to match our brand’s look and feel.
Implement any required custom functionality.
Integration:

Ensure seamless integration with payment gateways and shipping services.
Set up products, collections, and navigation.
Requirements:

Proven experience in WordPress development and customization.
Strong knowledge of Shopify and its ecosystem.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
Ability to work closely with designers and other team members.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Preferred:

Experience with e-commerce websites.
Familiarity with SEO best practices.
Knowledge of ADA compliance for websites.
