Roles and Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Design
•Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.
•Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements and design detailed test strategies.
•Identify and document test data requirements.
Test Execution
•Execute manual and automated tests, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
•Perform end-to-end testing to ensure seamless integration across various Salesforce modules and related systems.
•Verify data integrity and validate the correct functionality of Salesforce customizations, configurations, and integrations.
Defect Management
•Identify, document, and prioritize defects using a defect-tracking tool.
•Work closely with development teams to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
•Retest resolved defects to ensure fixes are properly implemented.
Documentation and Reporting
•Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of test cases, test scripts, and test results.
•Provide regular reports on testing progress, defect status, and overall quality metrics.
•Prepare and present test results to stakeholders, including risk assessments and recommendations.
Continuous Improvement
•Stay updated with Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices.
•Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on improving the quality and testability of code.
•Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA function.
Critical Skills to Possess:
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, preferably with a focus on Salesforce applications.
•Hands-on experience with Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.) and Salesforce administration.
•Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Provar) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
Skills
•Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test processes, and best practices.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
•Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Certifications (preferred)
•Salesforce Certified Administrator
•Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
•ISTQB Certified Tester
