About the Project
The goal of our website renovation is to translate complex advanced topics (such as laser eye surgery techniques and technology) into a succinct, educational, and beautiful website. We want our website to be equally as sleek, modern, and professional as our quality of services.
Our current website is rich in quantity of content, and the services we offer are the gold standard in eye surgery. However, it is in dire need of replacement due to many challenges, including our previous custom WordPress theme which is full of issues, and an excess of keyword-cannibalized pages. We are seeking an experienced professional who can comfortably help to consolidate, re-structure, and re-build our website using a new WordPress theme that is simple and easy for our team to edit.
This project will include many sub-items, including:
– Consulting with our organization to better understand our current WordPress challenges
– Creating an organized archive of old website content
– Building a new website to be designed and maintained under supervision of our internal team
– Creating a fully-accessible back-end along with any required instructions so that upon completion of the project, our team can independently edit and maintain every aspect of the website
Required Qualifications
– Experience using WordPress to build, edit, and maintain websites
– Experience working with source code and website programming
– Experience troubleshooting and finding successful resolutions to web design errors and challenges
– Exceptional communication skills with the ability to give and receive feedback and ask questions is essential
– Able to attend remote meetings on a regular basis
– Reliable Internet connection and access to a computer
Ideal Qualifications
– Extensive experience in WordPress and other website applications
– Experience in UI and UX design
– Graphic design and other artistic experience is a plus
– Prior experience working with health and HIPAA-compliant organizations and businesses
– Prior experience with web design tools such as Elementor, Figma, Canva, or other tools
Hourly Range: $10.00-$20.00
