Putin has unveiled the latest addition to his arsenal with a purported video showcasing Russia’s massive 6,600lb glide bomb launched from an Su-34. The footage, released by the Russian Defence Ministry, claims a successful strike. It shows a Su-34 Fullback pilot inspecting the FAB-3000 aerial bomb before another clip captures the fighter dropping the weapon in an air-to-air view. The Su-34 crew reportedly targeted Ukraine’s temporary deployment point with the FAB-3000, as stated by Russia. The ministry confirmed the mission’s success, marking the first time Russia has publicly displayed such a launch of the FAB-3000 bomb.
