We are a startup seeking to enhance the UI/UX of our mobile app, "join." Our app is a friendly social media platform where users can follow, plan, and join activities with friends or businesses. Core features include creating and sharing activities ("joins"), viewing personal and others’ schedules through a calendar, receiving notifications and reminders, and direct messaging. We need a skilled freelancer to refine the app’s design and improve user interactions, aligning with our branding guidelines. The goal is to create an engaging, user-friendly, and visually appealing experience.

Key Requirements:

Refine existing UI elements to align with our branding (branding guidelines will be provided).
Improve overall user flow and navigation for a seamless experience.
Ensure the design is minimalistic, clean, and contemporary.
Incorporate swipe and tap interactions effectively.
Enhance feedback mechanisms through pop-ups and notifications.
Implement dark mode and privacy settings as per the guidelines.
Ensure the design is culturally inclusive and supports an international audience.
Update the current branding guidelines to include comprehensive UI/UX guidelines.
Preferred Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in mobile app UI/UX design.
Strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch.
Experience with social media or similar apps is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Deliverables:

Updated UI/UX design prototypes for all screens (from the initial page to the direct message page).
Design assets in required formats.
Detailed documentation of design decisions and user flow improvements.
Revised branding guidelines incorporating the new UI/UX guidelines.
