Project Overview:
The goal is to create a highly efficient, offline-capable single-page application using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The app will include an integrated search feature using a static/local library and must be compatible with all major browsers. The application will also need to support viewing PDFs directly in the browser and be accessible via mobile browsers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a single-page HTML application that functions entirely offline.
Integrate all JavaScript and CSS inline or locally to ensure full offline capability.
Ensure compatibility with all major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
Minimize the use of custom JavaScript, favoring standard practices and libraries.
Implement a static/local search functionality using a library like PageFind (PageFind).
Enable PDFs to open seamlessly in the browser.
Technical Requirements:
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Strong experience in front-end web development and creating responsive web applications.
Experience with Offline Web Applications: Familiarity with techniques and best practices for developing offline-capable web apps.
Static Site Generation: Knowledge of static site generators and implementing static/local search functionalities.
PDF Handling: Experience with integrating PDF viewing capabilities within web applications.
Browser Compatibility: Ensure the application works across all major browsers and devices, including mobile.
Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize the application for fast load times and smooth performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
