We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Web Designer with a keen eye for UI/UX to join our team. Our ideal candidate will excel in using Figma, and have a solid understanding of UI/UX best practices for both web and mobile applications. You will work closely with our developers to bring our designs to life.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our team to iterate on existing design developments in Figma, ensuring consistency with our design elements and brand guidelines.
• Create visually compelling and user-friendly designs for both web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and solutions.
• Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of designs into production, providing necessary design assets and specifications.
• Utilize Jira and Confluence to manage design tasks, document processes, and ensure effective communication within the team.
• Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance design quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a web designer, preferably with a focus on fintech projects.
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in Figma, with the ability to create detailed design systems, components, and prototypes.
• Solid understanding of design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and best practices for responsive design.
• Experience collaborating with developers and other stakeholders to bring designs to life.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and justify design decisions.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the fintech industry, with an understanding of financial products and services.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to better understand developer constraints and possibilities.
• Previous experience working in an Agile development environment.

Hourly Range: $15.00-$36.00
