Job Summary: We are seeking a talented WordPress Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team. As a WordPress Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and user-friendly website interfaces using WordPress. You will collaborate closely with our design team to translate designs into responsive, cross-browser compatible themes and templates. This role requires a deep understanding of WordPress architecture, strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with PHP.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
• Integrate and extend existing WordPress functionality and APIs.
• Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to improve usability and accessibility.
• Conduct website testing and troubleshooting.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends.x

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a WordPress Front-End Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS (including preprocessors like Sass or LESS), JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Familiarity with PHP and MySQL.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).

Hourly Range: $12.00-$25.00
