We have an established enterprise Windows application that we’re looking to refresh the UI for. You’ll be working directly with our lead architect on building out the new UI. It’ll be an iterative exercise as you get to know our product and the existing UI and as you develop designs and components for the future UI. This could become a long-term relationship. Here’s some of the skills you should have:

Base
– Knowledge of XAML, ability to develop and configure WPF-based components (includes experience with VisualStateManager to manage the states of UI elements)
– Experience in creating and applying custom styles and templates for WPF components
– Experience with Visual Studio and Expression Blend
– Ability to use resources and resource dictionaries (ResourceDictionary) in WPF

Preferably
– Experience with vector graphics, including creating and editing Path and other graphic objects
– Intermediate knowledge of principles of UI/UX design
– Knowledge of a version control system such as Git
– Basic experience in Figma

We would like samples of your work on other Windows applications where you’ve renovated the UI to bring it up to current standards.

Hourly Range: $20.00-$40.00
