You should be a truly skilled developer who has been responsible for designing and implementing medium-to-large-scale projects. While we use frameworks to accelerate our development, we don’t lean on them – you should know how to access databases and write SQL without an ORM. If you are the type of person who starts designing the system in their head as someone is talking about requirements, then we’d love to hear from you.
