Overview:
We seek a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to help us validate a web application before releasing it to customers. This is an ongoing development following an Agile methodology, with biweekly releases to customers. The Senior QA Engineer will own the quality of the release.
Engagement outcomes include:
• Creating a test strategy and plan for every release.
• Developing test scenarios and cases for user stories.
• Completing the testing of the application before every release, including identifying and addressing login defects, and retesting the application upon defect resolution.
• Creating a regression suite for review and approval by stakeholders.
• Executing regression testing before every release in lower and production environments.
• Ensuring UAT (User Acceptance Testing) is completed.
• Sending daily status reports.
• Creating release notes before every release for customers’ consumption.

Requirements:
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, both web and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.
• Proficient in using testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
• Understanding of databases and ability to verify database interactions and queries.
• Proficiency in using Jira for bug tracking and project management.
• Available to work in US Central Standard Time.
