Job Expectations:
We are looking for a talented Senior Backend Engineer with at least 7 years of professional experience in cloud native application development, preferentially with additional experience working with Google APIs, developing Chrome extensions & / or Google Chat app integrations.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating cloud-native applications from scratch, with extensive experience in Golang, Dart, and AngularJS programming languages (or experience equivalent in nature). Additionally, we are looking for someone with experience with Flutter & Node.
Responsibilities:
-Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-native financial applications.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, UX/UI design, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software products.
-Architect, build and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based systems and infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform.
-Develop and maintain codebase in Golang, Dart, and JavaScript programming languages.
Implement best practices for software development, code management, testing, and deployment processes.
-Ensure that software is scalable, maintainable, and extensible.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
-Familiarity with function oriented architecture concepts (hybrid between service and microservices).
-Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
Requirements:
-7+ years of professional experience in cloud-native application development.
-Strong experience in Golang, Dart, and JavaScript programming languages.
-Hands-on experience with the Flutter front-end framework.
-Proficiency in designing and developing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based systems and infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform.
-Proven ability to deliver high-quality software products on time and within budget.
-Experience in implementing best practices for software development, code management, testing, and deployment processes.
-Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
-Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Fluent in English.
