Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Shopify Page Designer and Developer to work alongside our graphic designer to rebuild our Shopify website. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both design and development, with a keen eye for aesthetics and a deep understanding of user experience. You will be responsible for designing and implementing a visually appealing, user-friendly, and highly functional e-commerce site that aligns with our brand values and goals.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with our graphic designer to create a cohesive and visually appealing website design.
Develop and customize Shopify themes to match our brand’s aesthetic and functionality requirements, while using a theme similar to that of Rhodeskin.
Implement responsive design to ensure the site is mobile-friendly and optimized for all devices.
Integrate necessary Shopify apps and plugins to enhance site functionality.
Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth navigation.
Ensure SEO best practices are followed for improved search engine ranking.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance as needed.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Shopify Page Designer and Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify’s templating language).
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization.
Familiarity with Shopify apps and plugins for e-commerce functionality.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Preferred:

Experience working with beauty brands or similar industries.
Knowledge of SEO best practices.
Understanding of our brand values and tone of voice.
Project Specifics:

We want to retain our current brand guidelines but incorporate design elements similar to those of Rhodeskin.
