– Split our current SAAS solution into an enterprise and core editions. Publish the core edition as an open source project, available on Github as a Core version run, maintain the enterprise edition privately.
– Create and publish a Docker instance that is free to host, has all the core and premium features, but hides premium features under some license mechanism
This is a long term, pay per deliverable engagement
– First you work creating a premium branch from the current app
– Dockerizing the core editions
– Support with launch and bug fixing
– License mechanism for premium version and dockerizing the premium editions
– New features development for either core or enterprise editions
Ideally you are:
– An individual and NOT an agency
– Have practical experience with Docker, Kotlin, Spring boot project, with Gradle as a building tool.
– Working full-time in a product company and do freelancing as a side job
– Actively maintaining current web apps with decent traffic in production
– Willing to put in 10-20 hours weekly
– Comfortable sharing your linked-In and GitHub profile, and willing to jump on video chats.
