We’re a startup on a mission to make the software engineer hiring process more evidence-based and fair. We’re looking for a few great people to join our scenario analysis team, where you’ll help us evaluate responses and solutions from hundreds of candidates each week.

You’ll get to:

Your key responsibilities:

• Read and interpret complex written English responses to communication and collaboration scenarios
• Read and evaluate code in a variety of common languages and frameworks (you don’t have to be an expert in all, just familiar with a few!)
• Communicate daily with the team in async chat and Trello
• Video chat with other team members to resolve scoring differences and training

Requirements:

• Available for at least 20 hours per week, spread out throughout the week
• Fluent written and spoken English communication
• Proficiency in at least one programming language

Process

After reviewing your application (resume, cover letter, etc.) and screener questions, we’ll select a few people to take a work sample test that we have created that is similar to work you will do on the job. Then after you successfully complete this, we’ll set up a video call to train you on our process. The payment for this contract will cover until we talk on the video call.

Hourly Range: $11.00
