Hi. We have a working app for Android and iOS using React Native called Med Scanner. Our app scans the labels of pill bottles, vials, and also medication lists and then displays pertinent drug information regarding those medications. Our app dev was able to improve upon the scanning feature, but it’s still too slow and too inaccurate to use. We’re looking for an OCR expert that can help with this specific aspect of our app. We can give you lots of examples of medication bottles/vials and medication lists. Ultimately, we would like to be able to scan multiple bottles and/or long medication lists, extract ONLY the drug names (no doses, routes, patient info, etc.) and compile the list of drug names. We will then supply the corresponding drug info to display when we get a match. Hope that makes sense. Please ask with any questions.
