– Reskin our existing MediaWiki installation
– Reuse/modify/Create a theme similar to the RuneScape Wiki
– Implement the new theme and ensure all functionality remains intact
– It doesn’t have to match exactly 1-to-1 – we’re just looking to refresh the styles of our Wiki
## Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze example Wiki’s design and identify key visual elements
2. Modify an existing MediaWiki skin / develop one
3. Implement the new theme on our MediaWiki installation
4. Ensure all wiki functionality remains intact after the reskin
5. Optimize the new theme for performance and responsiveness
## Requirements:
– Proficiency in PHP, MediaWiki development, and CSS
– Strong design sensibilities and ability to create visually appealing interfaces
– Experience with MediaWiki theming and customization
– Ability to run a MediaWiki installation locally for development and testing
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Strong communication skills in English
## Project Scope:
– Duration: Approximately 1-2 weeks
– We will provide git access to our MediaWiki repository
