Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior AWS Developer with good platform engineering skills to join our small dynamic team. You will be responsible for helping to manage and enhance our backend infrastructure, data pipeline, process automation and various services to support our development team and improve overall efficiency. We value proactive, solution-oriented team members with excellent communication skills who take the initiative to identify and address challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
• Optimise and extend our use of AWS services like Lambdas, Cognito, RDS, ECS, EC2, WAF, S3 and more.
• Manage our data pipeline (Python, Pandas) running on ECS and integrate new data sources from retail partners.
• Work with our PostgreSQL databases and Hasura GraphQL service.
• Develop and maintain backend services, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Help with automating testing processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work on product data embeddings to improve front-end filters and search functionalities.
• Collaborate with front-end developers using React Web and React Native.
• Ensure robust monitoring and alerting using DataDog.

Required Skills and Experience:
• Extensive experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Pandas.
• Proficient in Javascript (Node.js).
• Experience with PostgreSQL and database management.
• Familiarity with GraphQL services, ideally Hasura.
• Hands-on experience with serverless architecture and deployment frameworks.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
• Ability to work in UK/European time zone.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience in fashion or luxury retail.
• Experience with React Web/Native.
• Knowledge of creating and utilising embeddings with vector DBs and LLMs.
• Familiarity with PostHog for analytics.

Hourly Range: $28.00-$55.00
