We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to support our team on a short-term project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in MySQL, Linux, database design, ETL processes, ETL software/pipelines, and data warehousing. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work independently to manage and optimize our database systems.

1. Design, implement, and maintain MySQL databases to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
2. Manage and optimize database performance, including query tuning and index management.
3. Develop, implement, and maintain ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow between systems.
4. Work with ETL software and pipelines to automate data integration and transformation tasks.
5. Design and maintain data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
6. Perform database backups, recovery, and security management.
7. Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
8. Create and maintain documentation related to database configurations, processes, and procedures.
9. Knowledge of database security best practices.

This is a short-term project expected to last 2-3 months. The person will work closely with our team to achieve project goals within the specified timeframe.

Hourly Range: $7.00-$20.00
