We are seeking an experienced Electron app developer to join our team and help build a feature-rich desktop application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing Electron apps using React, Tailwind, Shadcn, and Supabase. The project involves enhancing an existing boilerplate and implementing key functionalities.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and enhance a desktop application using Electron, React, Tailwind, Shadcn, and Supabase.
– Implement a deep linking mechanism for login through our website.
– Develop functionality to record screen and microphone, and upload recordings to S3 via Supabase.
– Ensure the application is easily upgradable and maintainable.
– Provide support for building and publishing the application on Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
– Collaborate with our team to ensure the app meets all functional and design requirements.

Requirements:

– Proven experience in developing Electron apps.
– Strong proficiency in React, Tailwind CSS, Shadcn, and Supabase.
– Experience with deep linking and user authentication mechanisms.
– Familiarity with screen and audio recording in desktop applications.
– Knowledge of file upload processes, particularly to S3 via Supabase.
– Ability to build and publish applications across multiple operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux).
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Previous experience with similar projects.
– Knowledge of best practices for application security and performance.
– Experience with automated testing and continuous integration for Electron apps.
