We are seeking a skilled blockchain engineer to join our team on Upwork. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ThirdWeb (https://thirdweb.com/) and building on Base Blockchain (https://www.base.org/). Your primary responsibility will be to assist us in tokenizing real-world assets on-chain, enabling royalties, and implementing mechanisms such as burning NFTs to redeem the underlying real asset.

Responsibilities:

Develop smart contracts and protocols on ThirdWeb and Base Blockchain platforms.
Design and implement mechanisms for tokenizing real-world assets into NFTs.
Create solutions for enabling royalties and managing tokenized assets securely.
Collaborate with the team to integrate blockchain solutions into existing systems.
Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of blockchain applications.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a blockchain engineer with a focus on ThirdWeb and Base Blockchain.
Strong understanding of smart contract development, token standards (ERC-721, ERC-1155), and blockchain security best practices.
Proficiency in Solidity programming language.
Familiarity with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and applications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
Nice to Have:

Experience with other blockchain platforms and protocols.
Knowledge of Web3.js, Truffle, or other blockchain development tools.
Previous work on projects involving the tokenization of real-world assets.
