An Israeli strike killed a Hezbollah commander, Faisal Ibrahim, in southern Lebanon’s Deir Kifa town on June 20. The IDF claimed that Ibrahim was responsible for planning and executing terror attacks against Israel. The slain Hezbollah commander was allegedly involved in ground operations in Jouaiyya. In retaliation, Hezbollah claimed it fired a fresh barrage of rockets into northern Israel.
