The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) claimed that the US and its allies will sacrifice Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for the inevitable military defeat at the hands of Russia. According to TASS, SVR said Zelensky will be used as a scapegoat, and the White House will soon shut him down. It was also claimed that retired General Valery Zaluzhny, the former top commander of the Ukrainian armed forces, is a likely candidate to replace Zelensky.
