We have developed an application that uses Twilio extensively for sending SMS and making phone calls. In addition, when someone calls this twilio phone number we route it (forward the call) to specific users of the application dependent on the incoming callers contact status and the user availability (based on their shift times).

The specific user that receives the forwarded phone call is able to see their phone and see the actual number of the caller OR determine whether it’s a number coming from Twilio.

We want our end user to be able to see both – the actual phone number / name of the caller (if that caller exists in our database) and the fact that it’s a call from Twilio. That way the user will be able to decide if they want to answer the call or not.
