The Opportunity:
Lab Alley, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented contractor to spearhead two crucial projects: the creation of a functional customer dashboard and the redesign of our auto-ship program. This role involves collaborating, planning, strategizing, and outlining the functionalities required for each project, which will then be handed over to our development team for implementation. The job doesn’t end when you hand over projects to the development team as you will enjoy testing, gathering feedback for improvements. This role reports to the Director of Technology.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Dashboard Development:
Design and conceptualize a user-friendly customer dashboard.
Outline key features including order history, document upload (e.g., business licenses, tax exempt files), and auto-ship management.
Create detailed wireframes and specifications for each feature.
Ensure the dashboard is intuitive and aligns with our customers’ needs and business objectives.

Auto-ship Program Redesign:
Evaluate the current auto-ship program and identify areas for improvement.
Develop a comprehensive redesign plan to enhance user experience and functionality.
Define key features and processes for the new auto-ship program.
Produce detailed documentation and requirements for the developers to follow.

Key Deliverables:
Comprehensive wireframes and specifications for the customer dashboard.
Detailed redesign plan for the auto-ship program.
Clear and concise documentation of all functionalities and features.
Collaboration with the development team to ensure smooth handover of the project plans.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in project management, UI/UX design, or a related field
Strong understanding of e-commerce and customer management systems
Excellent communication particularly working with cross functional teams
Strong documentation skills
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
Familiarity with software development processes is a plus
Prior experience creating ecommerce auto-ship programs and/or customer dashboards

Duration:
The contract is expected to last for 3 months with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance. Potential to move to a permanent position.

Hourly Range: $33.00-$85.00
