Russia has issued a fresh warning to Ukraine over Vladimir Putin’s latest peace proposal. Putin aide Dmitry Medvedev said that it would be wise for Zelensky to accept the proposal, adding that Russian troops will make life more difficult for Kyiv if it rejects the proposal. The Russian diplomat also accused the U.S. of influencing Ukraine not to accept the offer. Medvedev’s comments follow a ceasefire offer by Russian President Putin to Zelensky.
