An Israeli commander reportedly labelled the displacement of settlers “Hezbollah’s top achievement.” The remarks were made by Chief of Northern Command Major General Ori Gordon during a private meeting with settlers and high-ranking officials in Manot. The settlers had gathered to discuss their grievances due to Hezbollah attacks. This comes as tensions between the IDF and Hezbollah continue to mount on the Israel-Lebanon border.
