A former Israeli military officer has conceded that they were defeated in their battle with Hezbollah. “The resistance has established a security zone in the northern border,” according to former commander Major General (R) Yiftah Ron-Tal. He went on to say that Israel no longer has authority over the Galilee area next to the border with Lebanon. As tensions between Israel and Hezbollah rise, the former commander made these remarks.
