NATO nation The Netherlands allowed Ukraine to use the F-16 fighter jets that it is donating to strike Russia. The Dutch Defense Minister Kajsa Ollongren told Politico that Kyiv can use its donated 24 F-16s however it sees fit. This is in contrast to the approach of other ‘F-16 coalition’ partners like Belgium, whose Prime Minister Alexander De Croo maintains that any weapons supplied by his nation can only be used inside the territory claimed by Kyiv as Ukrainian, including the aircraft.
