Massive protest in Israel’s Tel Aviv after the IDF announced the death of four hostages in Gaza on June 3. Hundreds of people staged a protest outside Israel’s Ministry of Defence in Tel Aviv, calling for the return of the remaining hostages. Meanwhile, the Israeli government said on June 4 that it believes more than a third of the remaining Gaza hostages are dead. Israel said 120 remain in captivity, 43 of whom have been declared dead in absentia by Israeli officials based on various sources of information, including intelligence tip-offs, CCTV or bystander videos, and forensic analysis, according to Reuters.
