Uttar Pradesh is appearing to give BJP the biggest shock as the results for Lok Sabha elections trickle in. According to the Election Commission, Samajwadi Party was leading on around 35 seats while Congress was ahead on seven. BJP, which expected to again sweep the biggest political state, was leading on just 35 of the total 80 seats. Samajwadi Party and Congress workers were seen in celebration mode. SP workers even put up an “Akhilesh for PM” poster in Kannauj.
