The first batch of French troops are on their way to Ukraine, claimed Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Goncharenko. This comes after the Ukrainian Army chief announced that he had authorised the presence of French troops in the country. France President Emmanual Macron has adopted an aggressive approach against Russia in recent months. He has dubbed Russia an “existential threat” to Europe.
