Responsibilities:
Shopify Migration:
Lead the migration of our existing online store to the Shopify platform, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to migrate product listings, customer data, and order history to Shopify.
Website Development:
Design and develop a visually appealing and user-friendly e-commerce website on the Shopify platform.
Customize Shopify themes and templates to align with our brand identity and enhance the overall customer experience.
Product Management:
Set up product listings, collections, and categories on Shopify, including product descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory management.
Implement product variations, discounts, and promotions as needed to optimize sales and conversion rates.
Payment Gateway Integration:
Configure payment gateways and shipping options within Shopify to facilitate seamless transactions and order fulfillment.
Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements for online payments.
Third-Party App Integration:
Identify and integrate third-party apps and plugins to enhance the functionality and features of the Shopify store.
Evaluate app compatibility, performance, and security considerations to optimize website performance.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
Implement SEO best practices to improve the visibility and ranking of our Shopify store on search engine results pages.
Optimize meta tags, URLs, and site structure to enhance organic search performance and drive traffic to the website.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor website performance metrics, including traffic, conversion rates, and bounce rates, using Shopify analytics and other reporting tools.
Conduct regular audits and optimization activities to improve site speed, usability, and conversion optimization.
Training and Support:
Provide training and support to internal team members on Shopify platform usage, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support and assistance related to Shopify website management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
Proven experience in Shopify website development and management, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful Shopify projects.
In-depth knowledge of Shopify platform features, functionality, and customization options.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages and frameworks.
Familiarity with web design principles, UX/UI best practices, and responsive design techniques.
