Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has been accused of calling up the Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar and telling him to go “soft” on the accused teen in the Porsche accident case. Social activist Anjali Damania has made the allegation, PTI reported. Ajit Pawar admitted to calling up the Pune top cop but claimed that the call was only made to ensure that the police was not pressured by the rich family of the accused teen. Meanwhile, a doctor, who was arrested by the police for allegedly swapping the blood sample of the accused, has threatened to expose others complicit in the case.
