Yes, your PHP skills are crucial but come last in the list above. Being a good communicator is an inherent trait we’re looking for. Many people can code, and that can be taught. Good intuition, common sense and communication can often be innate.

We need standard to above average complexity WordPress work. Basic minimalist designs are often required and good CSS is usually more than enough!
