An Israeli official has told Reuters that Tel Aviv was not involved in the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi who was killed in a chopper crash on May 19. “It wasn’t us,” the unnamed official was quoted as saying by the news agency. The comment came amid conspiracy theories that have linked Israeli spy agency Mossad to the fate of Raisi. Notably, Iran has also not alleged any foul play in the death of Raisi.
