We are seeking a highly skilled React Native Developer to rebuild a social app originally developed in Flutter. The successful candidate will be expected to follow designs provided in Adobe XD closely, implement new features, ensure functional parity with the current app, and integrate additional key functionalities such as NFC read/write capabilities, analytics, and local database management for offline usage. Our backend is powered by Supabase, the app includes web access and a store integrated with WordPress.

Responsibilities:

– Rebuild and enhance a Flutter-based social app using React Native following the same features in the Flutter app, adhering to the designs provided in Adobe XD.
– Integrate NFC read/write capabilities and analytics to gather and utilize data effectively.
– Implement local database management, such as SQLite, to ensure app usability in offline mode.
– Implement Stripe for payment processing and manage membership functionalities.
– Develop features that allow users to share and download profiles.
– Use Git for version control and collaborate with team members on code management.
– Deploy updates and new features
– Firebase server; set up URL redirects as required.
– Ensure compatibility and manage deployment across both iOS and Android platforms.

Requirements:

– Proven experience in React Native development with a strong portfolio of projects, including those with complex functionalities and integrations.
– In-depth knowledge of React libraries, limitations, and best practices.
– Familiarity with NFC technology, and experience implementing analytics in mobile applications.
– Proficient in managing local databases like SQLite to enable offline access and data synchronization.
– Proficiency with Git for version control and experience deploying applications to Firebase.
– Skilled in setting up URL redirects and understanding deployment processes for iOS and Android.
– Experience integrating with backend systems, ideally Supabase, and familiarity with Stripe and WordPress.
– A good understanding of UX principles, with experience in animations being a plus.
– A basic understanding of Flutter is advantageous but not required.

This position is initially on a freelance basis with the potential to transition to on-going based on performance. During the interview process, we will discuss further details about the project.
