We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer to create a ready-to-launch design platform for printable marketing material integrated into a Shopify store. The Shopify store is complete. The AI component is what we need you to create and implement into the existing store.

Our vision for this software is to streamline and elevate the product customization process, making it exceptionally intuitive and efficient for users seeking to create tailored marketing materials. From the moment a user selects a product, such as a brochure, on our homepage, they will be seamlessly guided through a carefully designed customization workflow. This workflow begins with the user uploading their company logo and inputting key business details, which is facilitated by intelligent placeholders that guide the entry of relevant information. As they progress, users can select from AI-generated copywriting options that best represent their brand voice, followed by choosing a design template that not only aligns with their logo but is also aesthetically enhanced by AI suggestions based on the logo’s color scheme. The final stage is akin to working within a platform like Canva, where users can make drag-and-drop adjustments to logos, text, and images, ensuring that every piece of marketing material is perfectly customized before finalization. This platform aims to empower users to create marketing materials that are not only visually appealing but also perfectly aligned with their brand’s messaging and audience engagement strategies.

Responsibilities:

Build, implement, and deliver the source code of the design platform, which will be immediately usable upon delivery.
Ensure the design platform aligns with the existing Shopify store’s style guide and UI to maintain continuity and provide a modern, premium finish.
Develop a user flow that includes content selection, design tool integration, and various customization features (details provided below).
Implement a system to handle user inputs, template manipulation, and color matching based on uploaded logos.
Ensure the design tool allows for basic edits, proofing with a watermark, and final user confirmation before checkout.
Integrate the platform seamlessly with Shopify for a smooth checkout and payment process.

User Flow Details:

Selection of content type and customization options.
Transition to a design tool for further customization and input filling.
Offer three design variations, allow edits and final proofing with watermark.
Ensure all user changes can be revisited and adjusted through the design process.
Final user confirmation before checkout, embedding Shopify checkout if more cost-effective.
Post-checkout, the final design file is sent for processing with necessary specifications for printing.

Technical Requirements:

Experience with Shopify API and integration.
Proficiency in handling high-resolution 300DPI, ready-to-print file outputs and implementing design software. Completed marketing materials should be able to be added to the cart for users to check out and purchase the file of the marketing material the AI wrote.
Ability to embed Shopify checkout or manage transitions between the platform and Shopify.

Clarification of AI capability:
The AI does not need to create the templates or design components. you may use pre-set templates and map the AI to create text in the spots where text should be, without overflowing. The end file should be complete and ready to purchase through the shopify store.

Project Timeline:

Total Duration: 30 days from start to finish. We are behind on this project and need your full team to work on this to complete it as soon as possible. 30 days is the hard deadline.

Payment and Contract Details:

Total Budget: $20,000
Payment Structure: 25% upfront, 25% when you have a MVP, and 50% upon completion.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in developing and launching AI platforms integrated with e-commerce sites, preferably Shopify. The existing website is built in Shopify.
Experience in managing end-to-end user flow in a digital design context.
Strong portfolio in similar projects, particularly involving AI in marketing tools.
