We are seeking a skilled WordPress developer to create a custom theme for our blog using our Figma designs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with WordPress, CSS, and a deep understanding of creating child themes.

We currently have a custom CMS website and a WordPress subdomain blog. We are developing a new website for our main website and will require a new blog to match its design. We have Figma designs for our main site, but not the blog. We are looking for someone that can take the designs and for our main site and implement them into a WordPress website for us.

**Responsibilities include:**
– Utilizing our Figma designs to create a new look for our blog
– Applying CSS and design expertise to enhance our design
– Creating a child theme for a well-known WordPress block theme (not a page builder)
– Incorporating our header, footer, and styles into the child theme
– Customizing the child theme’s templates to apply our styles to the homepage, posts, archive, and pages

**Qualifications:**
– Proven experience with WordPress and Figma
– Advanced skills in CSS and web design
– Knowledge of creating and customizing child themes
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
