We are looking for a highly skilled Shopify developer to bring our e-commerce vision to life based on specific mockups. The initial project scope involves building a Shopify store including the homepage, product category pages (basically one design copied 4 times), and individual product pages (one product page copied 14 times – with provided content for each). Following the foundational build, we will focus on adding advanced features to enhance customer experience, such as suggesting related items with each purchase, similar to functionalities observed on ticaa.de.

After we build one site, we will just copy the entire site and add content in another language. I’ll also be looking for future maintenance and monitoring for these two sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate detailed mockups into a fully functional Shopify store, starting with the homepage, product category pages, and product pages.
Customize Shopify themes to meet design requirements.
Integrate Shopify’s API and third-party APIs to enhance store functionality (if needed)
Develop and customize Shopify apps to add unique features tailored to business needs (if needed)
Implement advanced features like product recommendations and cross-selling functionalities.
Ensure the site is optimized for performance, including fast load times and mobile responsiveness.
Implement SEO best practices specific to Shopify to improve visibility and drive traffic (not mandatory, we will provide guidance.
Collaborate closely with our team to discuss and implement specific design elements.

Requirements:

Proven track record of developing high-quality Shopify stores.
Strong expertise in Shopify’s architecture, including Liquid templating, Shopify APIs, and its app ecosystem.
Experience with Shopify Plus is preferred, especially for handling higher scalability and security needs.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
Experience in setting up and customizing payment gateways in Shopify.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
