Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented WordPress Designer/Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites using WordPress. This role will involve collaborating with our team to design and develop WordPress sites from scratch or customize existing themes according to client requirements.

Responsibilities:
– Designing and developing WordPress sites using themes and/or from Figma.
– Customizing existing WordPress themes to meet client specifications.
– Collaborating with the design and content teams to ensure seamless integration of visual design, content, and functionality.
Performing website updates, maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed.
– Optimizing websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development.

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a WordPress Designer/Developer or similar role.
– Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
– Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
– Experience with responsive and mobile design techniques.
– Knowledge of SEO best practices.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
– Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
– Portfolio of previous WordPress projects is highly desirable.
– Include the word WP in the first line of your cover letter or application

Additional Information:
– This is a freelancer position, with the opportunity to turn into full-time.
