We are looking for a skilled engineer to help us build an AI powered SAAS application running on Vercel and the Vercel AI SDK to provide a generative UI experience. We need expertise building AI web applications with high quality Next.js, React, and Tailwind. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building web applications and a strong understanding of the Vercel platform, Next.js, and React. You will be responsible for developing the front-end and back-end components, ensuring the application is scalable, performant, and well-optimized, and build with well formatted code.

  Responsibilities:
  – Collaborate with the team to design and implement the application architecture
  – The user experience has been designed, and you will work with the founder/designer to build the application
  – Build the SAAS application using a combination of Vercel templates and custom code to achieve the desired design
  – Setup Auth0 authentication and login/sign up experience
  – Develop new features and maintain existing functionality
  – Debug and fix issues, ensuring the application is bug-free
  – Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  – Optimize application performance for a seamless user experience

  Skills:
  – Proficiency in Next.js and React
  – Proficiency in OpenAI and Vercel AI SDK for generative UI
  – Experience with Vercel deployment and serverless functions
  – Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  – Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
  – Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)

  This is a medium-sized project that is expected to last between 3 to 6 months. We are looking for an intermediate-level engineer who has previous experience working with SAAS applications and is comfortable working in an agile development environment.
