As a Website Administrator, you will play a crucial role in shaping our online presence and driving traffic to our website. This requires not only technical expertise but also a keen eye for design and an understanding of user behaviour. You will have the opportunity to work closely with other team members, including content creators and digital marketers, to create engaging and visually appealing web pages that attract and retain our target audience. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating website content to ensure relevance, accuracy, and consistency.
In addition to technical skills, we are looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and has excellent problem-solving abilities. You should have a creative mindset and be able to think outside the box when it comes to improving website functionality and user experience. You will need to be able to work independently as well as collaboratively, and possess excellent communication skills in order to effectively convey technical information to non-technical team members.
– Conduct a comprehensive audit of both the main website (spotoncare.com.au) and the disability services landing page (spotoncare.com.au/disabilityservices), focusing on user experience (UX), load times, and mobile optimisation.
– Analyse content relevance and engagement levels to identify areas that may benefit from updated information or more engaging multimedia elements such as videos or interactive infographics.
– Evaluate the current SEO strategies of both pages, identifying keywords that are performing well and opportunities for improvement to enhance search engine visibility and rankings.
– Examine the website’s navigation structure and the landing page’s call-to-action (CTA) placements to ensure they are intuitive and effectively guide users towards desired actions, such as making enquiries or accessing services.
– Review the design and aesthetics of both pages for consistency with brand guidelines, visual appeal, and modern web design trends, suggesting redesign elements where necessary.
– Assess the current level of accessibility on both pages to ensure compliance with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and suggest improvements to make the site more accessible to users with disabilities.
– Propose the implementation of new features or technology that could enhance site engagement, such as live chat support, a blog section for regular content updates, or user testimonials and success stories on the disability services page.
Beyond the execution of the aforementioned tasks, it’s paramount to meticulously document each stage of the audit and its findings. This documentation should clearly outline the methodologies, data collected, and rationale behind each recommendation. It serves not only as a blueprint for implementing suggested improvements but also as a record of the site’s performance and areas of concern at the time of the audit. This comprehensive documentation will be invaluable for tracking progress over time and ensuring accountability and clarity in communication among the team members and stakeholders involved in the project.
