I need to develop a software capable of calculating sailing distances between ports, and capable to save vessels as default fleet. On the side this needs to be able to calculate cost of project (for example maritime transport project from A to B) and showing the utilization of vessels in a scheduling view like Gantt Chart.

Netpas is just a distance calculator and lacking main features like saving a project per vessel, and scheduling on your fleet day by day or to save the history. I need to set up this tool per client and save their fleet to keep track of port to port movements over time. This toll is of course for fleet management for vessel owners in maritime.
Please provide your estimate of project size on duration and cost. I need a budget estimate at this stage to plan for next step and kick start the development. I am also very interested in your opinion on main factors, if this better to be an online or desktop tool, etc.
