We are looking to undertake a complete redesign and optimization of an off-campus rentals website to enhance its usability, search engine optimization (SEO), and overall user experience. The site currently lacks clarity in presenting rental locations, pricing, and availability. Our goal is to transform it into the premier platform for students searching for off-campus housing solutions.
Brand Image and Coherence is Incredibly important and we aim to keep the look and feel of the site whilst making major changes to the site’s level of pragmatism.
Objectives:
1. SEO Optimization and Content Strategy:
– Craft SEO-friendly headlines and meta descriptions for each page, focusing on the benefits of off-campus housing.
– Implement on-page SEO to target specific student housing markets, using optimized content and strategic keywords.
– Ensure content is fully optimized for Google, enhancing both ranking and user engagement.
2. Website Usability and Design Enhancements:
– Feature available units prominently on the homepage with a dynamic form submission feature that adjusts to current listings.
– Redesign site navigation for clarity, using intuitive names like Home, Off Campus Housing, and Support.
– Integrate About, FAQs, and a contact form on most pages to provide immediate access to information and support.
3. Interactive and User-Friendly Listing Pages:
– Provide comprehensive details, images, and precise location mapping for each listing.
– Include a feature to explore other units on individual listing pages with compelling headlines.
– Enhance site interactivity by making certain geographic locations clickable, leading to dedicated pages with listings and information.
Required Skills:
– Expertise in website development and design, with a preference for experience in real estate or rental platforms.
– Strong background in SEO strategies, content optimization, and metadata.
– Proficiency in UI/UX best practices, with a focus on user engagement and satisfaction.
