Job description

You get to work on analyzing, testing and quality control of our amazing SaaS application, powered by AI image recognition. You will need to ensure that expectations around business use-cases  are met during the testing process.

The front-end is developed with React, HTML5 and CSS and presents a nice user-friendly report to the user.

You will be responsible for end to end testing including quality checks, content validation, page responsiveness, control validation and testing various permutations & combinations of different types of input.

Testing will be on various mobile & desktop browsers like Safari, Chrome etc.

Load and stress testing shall be performed via a tool like JMeter.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, an eye for details and experience in  SaaS application testing ideally with images.

Responsibilities and Duties

Document & review with the team the test plans before executing them
Document & review with the team the dataset that will drive the test plan
Functionality testing of the application pages. Activities includes:
Test all the links, buttons and make sure nothing is broken.
Testing input form fields and making sure they accept data and function properly.
Testing forms submission. Trying out various combinations of inputs.
Testing end to end workflows. Like a user navigates from one page to another to complete the workflow..
Content quality testing. Make sure all the rules are working fine and displayed correctly. Checking for spelling or grammatical errors.
Load and stress testing of the application.
Finding the right data set to cover all the rules. Make sure both positive and negative testing is performed.
Build the test scenarios, test cases for all the rules. Record the dataset used to test each rule.
Testing the desktop and mobile layouts. Looking for issues in the layouts on different browsers(Chrome and Safari).
Recommend changes for growth and usability improvements.
Expected Skill Set

5+ years of experience in web application testing.
1+ years of experience in quality control.
1+ years of experience in laid and stress testing.
Experience in creating test scenarios and test cases.
Experience in documenting the status of test cases.
Access to Iphone and Mac machine for Safari testing.
Knowledge of Web components and controls.
Must have knowledge of maintaining test cases and plans in Google Docs and test management tools like QATouch, Tusker etc..

Compensation
We are looking for someone who can understand the application, design and document test scenarios.

Must have strong analytical skills and be able to come with creative ideas. A person who doesn’t need to be managed and spoon fed.

Team will share the milestones requirements documents, you will need to estimate the hours and agree to a fixed bid on each milestone with us before commencing work.
