Project Title: Comprehensive Testing of web application and mobile application
Objective:
The purpose of this testing project is to conduct an exhaustive evaluation of D&P, ensuring each of its 600+ workflows operates flawlessly across more than 50 pages with various integrated plugins. The testing will simulate realistic operational scenarios to validate the functionality, usability, and interactivity within and between teams on the platform.
Scope:
Team Creation:
Assemble 10 distinct teams, each comprising a minimum of 5 members, reflecting varied roles and permissions.
Set up individual profiles and access rights for each team member.
Project Simulation:
Establish 5 unique projects per team, complete with objectives, deadlines, and required resources.
Assign project roles and distribute tasks to ensure comprehensive team engagement.
Task Management:
Generate a total of 20 tasks per project, varying in complexity and duration.
Test task assignment, tracking, updating, and completion processes.
Work Order Processing:
Create 10 work orders within each project, testing the initiation, approval, execution, and closure phases.
Design Revisions:
Introduce 10 design documents per project, each undergoing a series of revisions to test version control and approval workflows.
Inventory and Item Tracking:
List 20 items within the platform’s system, assessing the tracking, updating, and reporting capabilities.
Marketplace Integration:
Post 5 marketplace listings for each team, verifying the functionality of posting, updating, and communicating through the marketplace feature.
Inter-Team Collaboration:
Coordinate activities between teams to test cross-functional interactions, resource sharing, and conflict resolution mechanisms.
Testing Methodology:
Each functionality will be subjected to both automated and manual testing strategies to identify bugs, interface issues, and performance bottlenecks.
Testers will employ a variety of data inputs and user actions to mimic real-life usage patterns.
Edge cases and stress testing will be applied to ensure system robustness under atypical conditions.
Deliverables:
A detailed report documenting the testing process, findings, and recommendations for each component of the application.
A list of identified bugs, categorized by severity and the potential impact on user experience.
Suggestions for feature improvements, optimization, and user interface enhancements.
Timeline:
The total timeline is 3 weeks.
Testing Team Requirements:
The testing team will consist of experienced QA professionals with a background in web application testing, particularly in a team-based, project management environment.
Acceptance Criteria:
The project will be deemed complete when all functionalities have performed seamlessly across multiple test scenarios, all reported issues have been resolved, and the application is verified to be ready for deployment.
